Talk with the doctor Method Of Administration Of PROMETIN SYRUP Use promethazine syrup as ordered by your doctor. Read all information given to you. Follow all instructions closely. Take 30 to 60 minutes before travel if using for motion sickness. Take with or without food. Take with food if it causes an upset stomach. If you take promethazine syrup on a regular basis, take a missed dose as soon as you think about it. If it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your normal time. Do not take 2 doses at the same time or extra doses. Undesirable Side Effects Of PROMETIN SYRUP Feeling dizzy, sleepy, tired, or weak Blurred eyesight Dry mouth Upset stomach or throwing up Feeling nervous and excitable Trouble sleeping Warnings & Special Precautions While Taking PROMETIN SYRUP Before you use this medicine talk to your doctor or pharmacist: If you have an allergy to promethazine If you have any of these health problems: Asthma or other breathing problems like COPD or sleep apnea (breathing problems during sleep). If you have any of these health problems: Low blood cell count or poor bone marrow function. Children: If your child is throwing up for an unknown reason. Do not give promethazine syrup to a child who is throwing up for an unknown reason. Storage Conditions Of PROMETIN SYRUP Store below 25°c Don’t refrigerate Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Store in the original package to protect from moisture. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the box/blisters/label. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
