If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away. If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose. Tiredness or weakness Nausea Warnings & Special Precautions While Taking Omacid Chewable Tablets Do not take it if: You are allergic to any of the ingredients You have severe stomach problems You have an intolerance to some sugars Use with caution if: You have heart, kidney or liver problems You have diabetes You need a laxative dose every day, or you have persistent abdominal pain, or if symptoms persist You are elderly or feel very weak You are on a controlled sodium diet You are pregnant or breastfeeding It may interact with the following drugs and products: Anticoagulants (eg, warfarin) because the risk of their side effects may be increased Azole antifungals (eg, ketoconazole), bisphosphonates (eg, alendronate), cation exchange Resins (eg, sodium polystyrene sulfonate), cephalosporins (eg, cephalexin), mycophenolate, Penicillamine, quinolone antibiotics (eg, ciprofloxacin), or tetracyclines (eg, doxycycline) Because their effectiveness may be decreased. Storage Conditions Of Omacid Chewable Tablets Store below 25°c Don’t refrigerate For your safety, discard any medicine remaining 6 months after opening the bottle. Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Store in the original package to protect from moisture. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the box/blisters/label. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
