miconaz has also an antibacterial action against Gram-Positive cocci and bacilli including Staphylococci and Streptococci
the antimicrobial action of miconaz is attributed to its ability to alter the permeability of the membrane of organism cells and its interference with intracellular enzymes , leading finally to cell necrosis .
How to use:
the powder is sprinkled liberally over the affected areas twice daily.
Caution & Warnings:
hypersensitivity to miconazole nitrate.
