Therapeutic Indications of ADVANTAN 20gm cream
Methylprednisolone is a corticosteroid used topically to treat a variety of skin conditions including:
Eczema of all types.
Dermatitis (itching) of all types.
Allergic dermatitis (dermatitis caused by skin irritants and allergies).
Psoriasis.
How To Use:
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you.
Check with your doctor if you are not sure.
If not prescribed otherwise by your doctor, the general dosage is as follows:
Apply Advantan thinly once per day to the affected areas of skin;
Always keep the treatment period as short as possible. The duration of use should not
Exceed 12 weeks in adults and 4 weeks in children
If your skin dries out excessively using Advantan Cream, ask your doctor about switching
To one of the formulations with a higher fat content (Advantan Ointment or Advantan Fatty
Ointment).
